Most of you probably don't know this, but currently I am in Japan! :D Hirakata, to be exact ;D I signed up through my school for study abroad(yay scholarships pay for my trip!). I've been in Japan since the end of January, yes I am updating kind of late, but that is because I have been so busy exploring this wonderful country! So, lately I have been thinking about how I want to take my art skills to the next level...i.e. more original works. And, to do that, I have decided that I'm going to start doing some studies, primarily on anatomy and human posing, so that I can become a better artist (and so I can adequately draw half of the ideas I have swimming around in my mind >_>) Since I will be drawing these studies, I will try to post at least one a week. I realized, as I was looking throughout my gallery, that my art style is kind of all over the place. This is because I like to try out other styles, dabble in a type that isn't my strong suit, or just sketch. But, I'm going to try to stop mimicking others, and try to find my own way. I need to figure out what my style is...and then go crazy making fan arts xD I think I might probably go back to pencil and paper...though I might try a few other types of digital painting first...
